Sea of stones flooding our streets, singing harsh poetry. Inspired by the Portuguese Pavement. It began in the 15th century and is today a significant historical heritage. The Portuguese pavement is made of irregularly shaped stones, usually in black and white limestone, which can be arranged to form decorative patterns or mosaics, contrasting stones of different colors. Today, it is a distinctive element of Portuguese identity.
